Juneau is one of the busiest cruise ports in Alaska and has a number of locations. Juneau Cruise Ship Terminal is close to Mount Roberts Tramway and downtown and can hold two ships simultaneously. South Franklin Street Dock is a central location in downtown Juneau, minutes from the attractions & tour departure points. Marine Park Dock is steps from downtown close to the visitor centre. Alaska Steamship Dock offers direct access to the shops and South Franklin Street. AJ Dock often used for larger ships is around 1 mile south of downtown and offers a paid shuttle service. Note as Juneau is so busy in peak season that some ships may not be able to berth and will have to tender guests ashore
