Ambassador ships use British Pounds GBP as the onboard currency
Tip! It is a cashless society onboard so register your credit card at check in and use your room key as a charge card onboard
You can book Ambassador Fares that include a drinks package, or you can add Ambassador Drinks Packages up to 7 days before the sailing date. If within 7 days of sailing, packages can only be purchased onboard within 24 hours of boarding the ship, and the ‘Onboard Price’ will be applicable.
Yes, you can pre-purchase Wi-Fi packages with a choice of Basic, Value or Premium packages available at additional per day cost. Current pricing ranges from GBP10 - GBP17 per day. Longer cruises enjoy lower per day rates
Onboard Gratuities (Tips) are automatically added to your onboard account and are GBP7pp per night, or GBP6pp per night on cruises 16+ nights. Children 12-17yrs are charged GBP4pp per night
Some Ambassador promotional fares will offer a guarantee grade room. This allows you to choose the type of room you would like i.e Interior or Balcony etc but you cannot choose the location or room number. Ambassador will choose your room and advise you on departure. Note this can be anywhere on the ship and if booking an Oceanview or Balcony it could have an obstructed view. Special requests are not accepted on these rooms
Tip! This type of room is not suitable if you want to guarantee a room close to other friends or family members onboard, or if you have accessible requirements
