Gratuities are included if you book the All-In Package. On other fares Windstar charges around US$12pp per day for onboard gratuities which is automatically charged to your onboard account.

No, Due to the small ship nature of Windstar's fleet, they are primarily targetted at Adult guests looking for relaxation and cultural immersion. There are no Kids clubs or specialised children or youth activities on board

No! We are living in the digital age. Your E tickets will show up in your cruise proifile after you have paid in full and completed all the mandatory check in information

Some Windstar promotional fares will offer a guarantee grade suite. This allows you to choose the type of suite you would like i.e Oceanview or Balcony etc but you cannot choose the location or suite number. Windstar will choose your room and advise you prior to departure. Note this can be anywhere on the ship. Special requests are not accepted on these rooms

Yes! All guests including infants require a valid passport if your cruise is visiting any international port, even if you don't plan to get off. Preload your passport details for each guest for speedier boarding on your departure day

  • It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us at the time of booking if they or anyone in their party is pregnant or becomes pregnant after booking.
  • Cruise lines have specific policies regarding pregnancy, including restrictions that may prevent passengers from sailing if they enter the 24th week of pregnancy by the final day of the cruise. These policies vary between cruise lines and are non-negotiable.
  • Customers are required to review the cruise line’s pregnancy policy before booking and ensure they meet all medical requirements for travel.
  • If a pregnancy is disclosed after the booking has been confirmed and the passenger is unable to travel due to the cruise line’s pregnancy policy, standard cancellation penalties will apply as outlined in our terms and conditions.
  • We will assist customers to the best of our ability in exploring alternatives (e.g., transferring the booking to another passenger) but cannot guarantee a refund or waiver of fees.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances, including those related to pregnancy and medical conditions.

Yes! This is a trap for new cruisers, so if your cruise is visiting New Caledonia, Lifou or Mare you MUST have a Travel Insurance policy and be able to show it at embarkation. If you cannot show a valid Travel Policy you will be denied boarding with no refund. Pre-load your Travel Insurance details in your cruise check in. Get a quick Travel Insurance quote here

Norfolk Island is part of Australia, so regardless of your residency if you are not travelling on an NZ or Australian passport, you will need an Australian visa. This applies even if you do not plan to disembark. More Info here
