Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise ships all use US dollars, regardless of where you are cruising in the world
Tip! It is a cashless society onboard so register your credit card at check in and use your room key or Disney Magic band as a charge card onboard. Remember to set spending limits on childrens cards

Disney Cruises do not offer all-inclusive alcohol packages, but they do provide Complimentary Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Soda from Self service stations. In addition you can purchase wine packages, refillable beer mugs and a drink of the day at a discounted price onboard

Yes you can pre-purchase Wi-Fi packages after booking in the Disney Cruises app
Note: Wifi is free when using the Disney Navigator App, which allows you to check daily cruise schedules and book onboard activities etc

Tips are not included and most Kiwis opt to pre-pay these before departure, please advise our team if you would like to pre-arrange this and we can add on to the booking for you

Some last minute Disney promotional fares will offer a guarantee grade room. This allows you to choose the type of room you would like i.e Interior or Balcony etc but you cannot choose the location or room number. Disney Cruises will choose your room and advise you on departure. Note this can be anywhere on the ship and if booking an Oceanview or Balcony it could have an obstructed view. Special requests are not accepted on these rooms

Tip! This type of room is not suitable if you want to guarantee a room close to other friends or family members onboard, or if you have accessible requirements

Disney Cruise Line is not currently offering cruises departing from New Zealand. Disney Wonder previously sailed in the Australasian market, giving Kiwi families the chance to experience a Disney cruise closer to home, but that local season has now ended.

For 2026, the closest Disney Cruise Line option for New Zealand travellers is Disney Adventure sailing from Singapore. The brand-new Disney Adventure offers 3- and 4-night cruises from Singapore, making it a convenient option for Kiwis looking to combine a Disney cruise with a holiday in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo or Shanghai.

The cost of a Disney cruise for New Zealand travellers depends on the ship, itinerary, sailing date, stateroom category and number of guests. Cruise fares can also change as availability changes.

At Cruise Deals, we provide Disney Cruise Line pricing in NZD, so you can see the cost in New Zealand dollars rather than having to convert a US-dollar fare yourself. Our Disney cruise prices are indicative and subject to availability, so we recommend enquiring with our Cruise Specialists for the latest fare for your preferred sailing. We can also help arrange flights and pre- or post-cruise accommodation from New Zealand.

There is no single price for a Disney cruise. Fares vary depending on the destination, cruise length, departure date, ship, stateroom type and number of guests. Disney cruise fares can range from shorter 3- or 4-night getaways to longer itineraries in destinations including Alaska, the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe.

For New Zealand families, Disney Adventure from Singapore is one of the most accessible Disney Cruise Line options, with 3- and 4-night sailings. Disney cruise fares include accommodation, main meals, selected beverages, entertainment, kids clubs and many onboard activities, while items such as gratuities, Wi-Fi, shore excursions and some specialty dining and drinks are additional.

Disney Cruise Line has a range of sailings around the world, but there are no longer any Disney cruises departing from New Zealand or Australia

For Kiwi travellers, one of the most convenient option is Disney Adventure from Singapore. The new ship began sailing from Singapore in March 2026 and offers 3- and 4-night cruises.

Disney Wonder now offers itineraries including Alaska from Vancouver and the Mexican Riviera from San Diego. These cruises can be combined with a visit to Disneyland California or other US travel for a complete Disney fly/cruise holiday from New Zealand.

Disney Cruise Line schedules and availability can change, so check the latest Disney cruise dates and fares with our Cruise Specialists before booking.
