• For the majority of cruise lines you will require a passport with at least six months validity at the end of your holiday. A lot of countries now also require a passport to be valid for a minimum of six months on arrival, this also applies even if your ship is visiting the country and you do not plan to disembark. Check your passport before you book and make sure it will have enough validity for your cruise.
  
  
• For cruises that do no leave NZ waters you will only require a form of Government issued photo i.d such as a Drivers Licence.
  
  
• If visas are required for your Itinerary ensure that you apply for these in plenty of time before you are due to travel. Some countries now allow online visa applications, but there are others that still require you to lodge your passport at the Embassy or Consulate for visa processing
